Vintage Baby Postcard Freebie and More

Spring is one of my favorite seasons and I'm sure ready for it after the long winter here in Maine.  My daughter and grandson were both born in May.  I recently attended a baby shower for a mom that will have a baby in May.  Here are a few pictures I took at the shower that I wanted to share.

I just love the lemon water dispenser, maybe because it looked so refreshing, the colorful sherbert floating in the pink lemonade, and the candy eggs that were so tempting, I just had to indulge.  The cake was topped with a baby in a pea pod.  It was sculpted out of frosting and was a mini masterpiece.

Here is just the sweetest vintage baby postcard which I'd like to share with you.  Notice the little birdies, and the dainty blue forget me nots.  Yours for free.  You can click on the image for a larger view.   The age of this postcard is pre 1915.  I think the artwork on these old images is remarkable.  You can't see it but the card is embossed and the flowers are birds are raised.  I just love it, and thought you would too.

Speaking of babies, I can't leave out my sister's new baby goat.  She thought about naming her Abby, I would have been fine with that (really), but they decided on Annie.   Isn't she just the sweetest.

Thanks for stopping by.  Your comments make me happy, so don't be shy about leaving them.  Have a blessed day dear ones.
