Bible Verse Thursday ~ The Lord Gives Wisdom

It's my second week as a new Challenge Hostess at Christian Paper Crafts.  Each Thursday, I'll be hosting "Bible Verse Thursday" which will be shared on their blog as well as my own.

For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly; He guards the paths of justice, and preserves the way of His saints. Proverbs 2:6-8

I couldn’t have been prouder when I watched my daughter graduate from high school. When I heard her name called at her college graduation, tears of joy were shed. I had witnessed firsthand the sacrifices and hard work that she put into earning her degree. In order to obtain wisdom, one has to desire it. Spiritual wisdom and understanding can be found in God’s word by opening your Bible and reading. When you read, be open to what God wants you to learn from it, and not looking for what you want it to say. Ask God to help you understand, and He will.

The challenge this week is to make a project based on this scripture for a graduate or someone in your life this scripture would apply to. I know many of you think outside the box when it comes to paper crafts. If you want to use a particular scripture in a project and don’t have a stamp, you can type it in your computer and print it out, or hand-write it on the project.  If you're participating in the challenge, it's not required to use this particular scripture in your project.

Don’t forget as part of this weekly challenge, I encourage you to memorize the scripture as well. My project for this challenge is a graduation card for a young lady I know. The butterfly border and scripture were done digitally and printed, the rest of the card was made around it and embellished.

You can find more details about participating in this challenge, at the Christian Paper Craft Blog

Thanks for stopping by, have a blessed day.
