Spring is a time when there are lots of birthdays among my friends and family. I thought I'd share this birthday image with you. It's a real photo vintage postcard from my collection which has been hand colored, so many years ago. Who doesn't like to get flowers for their birthday? I just love this card right down to the careful hand lettering of A Happy Birthday and the fancy flourishes. This image is free for you to use in your artwork or send via email to brighten someone's day.
I like to add scripture to my cards. Below are a few of my favorite scriptures I often use in birthday cards I send.
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you. Philippians 1:3
The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
