He Giveth More Grace

He Giveth More Grace
lyrics by Annie Johnson Flint

He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater,
He sendeth more strength when the labors increase,
To added affliction He addeth His mercy,
To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.

His love has no limit, His grace has no measure,
His power no boundary known unto men,
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus,
He giveth and giveth and giveth again.

When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
When our strength has failed ere the day is half-done,
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources,
Our Father's full giving is only begun.

  1. I'm not one to pick favorites -- but in this case I'd have to say, this is one of my very favorite songs! I've found it to be true time after time -- thanks for the great reminder today!

  6. Hi Abby, I'll check my hymnal for this song too, beautiful lyrics and I love the image of the two little girls in the garden. It reminded me of yesterday. I was at my granddaughter's 7th birthday party, she and one of her cousins were dressed alike and they both have very long hair like the children in your image. Joyous Wishes, Linda

  7. Lovely Abby. Another hymn we will have to know by heart. This morning we sang Safe In the Arms of Jesus and Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing. I'm thankful to have you in my life. Have a sweet Lord's day. :o)
