A Melody of Love ~ Hymn

I have a song that Jesus gave me,
It was sent from Heav’n above;
There never was a sweeter melody,
’Tis the melody of love.

Refrain (sing between each verse)
In my heart there rings a melody,
There rings a melody with Heaven’s harmony;
In my heart there rings a melody,
There rings a melody of love.

I love the Christ who died on Calv’ry,
For He washed my sins away;
He put within my heart a melody,
And I know it’s there to stay.

’Twill be my endless theme in glory,
With the angels I will sing;
’Twill be a song with glorious harmony,
When the courts of Heaven ring.

Ephesians 5:19 ~

Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.

A beautiful hymn to meditate on today, and lift our spirits.

  1. I just found your beautiful blog. Thank you for blessing us with lovely reminders of how wonderful our Lord Jesus is. I'm looking forward to reading my way through your archives. God bless you for shining light in a dark world. xx

  2. What a delightful surprise to receive your blog today! I haven't sung that song in a while, but right now the melody is dancing through my head--such a message!

  3. I have loved this song since I was a little girl. It is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us today.

  4. Wonderful words Abbie - it is not a hymn that I am familiar with

  5. Just sang it all the way through, we used to sing it at the CSSM when I was girl. just the chorus then added with Turn your eyes upon Jesus chorus only too …... I was saved at beach mission and these hymns we learnt as choruses mean so much to me... thanks for the reminder, Abby, you’re a source of constant belssing,
