This old postcard of winter birdies inspired me to add the inspirational word TRUST. This image and the word Trust fit perfectly with Matthew 6:26:
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
I can't claim to imagine what goes on in a bird's mind, but I know their creator does. I would think by instinct, they don't worry, but trust in the provisions of our heavenly Father. This verse tells me I don't have to be anxious.
Said the Robin to the Sparrow:
"I should really like to know
Why these anxious human beings
Rush about and worry so."
Said the Sparrow to the Robin:
"Friend, I think that it must be,
That they have no Heavenly Father,
Such as cares for you and me."

In the midst of a blog post right now just getting the pics edited...I will be linking here. God is so faithful and good that He cannot be untrue to His very nature, His character. Amen that He is always on the case. It is perfectly right snd logical that we put our trust in Him.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Abby. I really love this. That verse is always so comforting, so thank you for reminding me of it. Birds always remind me of God's faithful care over us. :) I don't comment every time, but thank you for all the beautiful graphics you make. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful graphic and of course the words are precious.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
I just discovered your site and it's a blessing.

Abby, thank you once again for the "25 Days of Christmas." I journaled each day's entry and it was such a blessing. I look forward to reading Little Birdie Blessings during 2017.
ReplyDeleteI feel this is something we need right now with the changes that will take place in our country in the following weeks to come.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Many thanks, beautiful little birds.
ReplyDeleteHello Abby!
ReplyDeleteI just love this graphic of the birds with their beautiful red breasts and the word "Trust"! So beautiful! I plan to incorporate this graphic, the verse from Matthew, and the sweet poem by Elizabeth Cheney in a card I'm making for a cancer patient. Thank you for being such a blessing!!
