Do you like pretty things? I know I do. I think this package I wrapped recently is pretty. Just look what you can do with simple piece of white tissue paper, a scrap of pretty fabric and some tulle. Of course a pretty package needs a pretty tag to go with it.
I love to use wax bags to tuck things into. I accented this little bag with a pretty floral sticker.
One of Webster's definitions of pretty is: pleasing by delicacy or grace. Do you sometimes feel NOT pretty, like when you have a bad hair day, you're uncomfortable in your clothes, or you dwell on physical imperfections. Perhaps you feel not pretty all the time. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart. I Samuel 16:7.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:14. God made YOU exactly the way you are. He does not make mistakes, and you have a purpose. YOU are beautiful to God, remember He created you.
Do you have a low self esteem? Not feeling so pretty? I highly recommend this book Beautiful in God's Eyes by Elizabeth George. Why, it even has a pretty cover. In this book Elizabeth shows how God lovingly shares with you His vision of a life of beauty through the joyous outlook, creative spirit, and feminine grace of the Proverbs 31 woman. I have read many books by this author and done numerous of her Bible studies. She is a wonderful mentor to me, and I know you would benefit from her teaching as well. If you click on the title under the book, it will take you to her site.
I have some more pretty things to share with you. It dawned on me yesterday that Easter is coming very soon and I haven't posted any Easter cards for you. So here they are, free as always, not one, but THREE, woo hoo. Enjoy!!
Have a wonderfully blessed weekend, and remember ~
YOU are BEAUTIFUL!!!
