Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!
Hymn by T.O. Chisholm 1923

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing!
Phew Abby! I just got you back on my blog roll. I was looking for you and had completely forgotten that I had accidentally deleted my blog roll. Anyway, you're back and I'm happy and hope that all is well with you.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Abbey, for those adorable pictures and the great words and one of my favorite hymns. Isn't it great that these words can come to us when we need them, to show our gratitude, help us give praise, express our need, share our faith and bring us comfort and joy?
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking of a song, as this big storm approaches, can you help me with the words?
It goes, "though the storm clouds darken the sky.... I'll just keep trusting my Lord..., He's a faithful friend....." and so on,and I can't find it in my hymn books on hand, but I am humming it now! I know you'll know it!
My friend,Kathy @The Writer's Reverie, just posted, and she quoted Phil. 4:6, and the verse has brought me such comfort and peace!
Blessings! Linda
Here are some of the lyrics to the hymn I just Keep Trusting My Lord.
ReplyDeleteI just keep trusting my Lord as I walk a long
I just keep trusting my Lord and He gives a song
Though the storm clouds darken the sky o'er the heav'nly trail
I just keep trusting my Lord, He will never fail
He's a faithful friend, such a faithful friend
I can count on Him to the very end
Though the storm clouds darken the sky o'er the heav'nly trail
I just keep trusting my Lord, He will never fail
Abby,
