Thy word is a lamp unto my feet,
and a light unto my path.
Psalm 119:105
This verse takes me way back to my childhood Sunday School teacher Mrs. Clark. I can remember standing in the church my husband pastor's today, reciting this with the other children. I'm so thankful for the Word of God that continues to, day by day, guide my steps and give me just enough light for the step I'm on.
This is beautiful, Abby. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Your photo is precious, Abby.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite verses and such a promise.
How special that you are still in the church where you grew up, and now your husband is the Pastor.
Bless you!
Joy!

I had to smile when I read that this verse reminded you of your childhood Sunday School teacher...last week at Bible club Ms. Karen {she is in her 60's} was teaching the children this verse and it was a joy to listen to the kids say the words.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday, my friend. Love to you!
What beautiful thoughts, Abby!
