BOLD Encouragement & Free Christmas Images

Let us therefore come boldly
unto the throne of grace
that we may obtain mercy,
and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:16 KJV

This verse has been on my mind today so thought I’d start my post with it.  The word that stands out to me in this verse is BOLDLY

It reminds me how to approach my Lord:
  •  immeasurable faith and confidence
  • knowing most assuredly that He will help me in my time of need
  •  in a way only He knows is best
Remember, we can’t see the whole picture laid out in front of us, but God can.  Only He knows our future and knows best how to help us.

It is my hope and prayer that the assuring words in Hebrews 4:16 would help your trust  and faith to grow stronger.  I'm constantly striving to be:

Less dependent on self,
&
more dependent on Him.

It is so good to be reminded of this today. Abby, I just love your blog, I love how you encourage us, and I am grateful for how you share all of these beautiful images with us! I am like you about birds--it seems God has used them numerous times to encourage me throughout my life and I delight in images of them.

Thank you Abby, I needed to read this reminder again to know that I need to stay focused on what He has me doing right now and not worry about what my purpose for the future is.

You're the third person that has brought this to my attention. I'm beginning to get it now. :o)

One of my favorites! Thank you for focusing on the word "boldly". How awesome is that! I love that we go to Him with confidence ~ knowing thta He'll always be there.

So true! My hope is that the leaders of the country, too, will turn toward the Lord and boldly ask for guidance.
