A wonderful verse -- and yes, prayer is a wonderful gift from God. While studying for my Sunday School lesson last week I came upon a quote from Albert Barnes that speaks of this very thing: ‘No one has ever fully appreciated the privilege of being permitted to call upon God, the privilege of prayer’. When you think about it, instant access to the King of Kings is pretty amazing.
