Enter His Gates with Thanksgiving

I've combined some of my favorite things here.  Scripture and vintage postcards.  I just love Psalm 100, especially at this time of year.  This little boy riding the turkey seems so content, I pictured him riding around HIS courts, singing Praise.

I made this graphic from a vintage postcard in my collection.  I digitally altered the image and added the scripture.  This graphic is free to you for your personal use.  You can click on it for a larger image.  Hope you enjoy it.

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.  Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.  Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.  Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.  For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Have a blessed day.

With the deadline of November 24th fast approaching, try to help out this worthy cause if you're able.  I have a few more images in the works to submit.  Did I mention there are prizes?  Hope you can help.

Sing to the Lord with Thanksgiving

Let us come before him with thanksgiving
and extol him with music and song.
Psalm 95:2

Here is a Thanksgiving card I made using the hymn Come Ye Thankful People Come.  It was written in 1844 by Henry Alford.  Here are some of the lyrics.

Come, ye thankful people, come, raise the song of harvest home;
All is safely gathered in, ere the winter storms begin.
God our Maker doth provide for our wants to be supplied;
Come to God’s own temple, come, raise the song of harvest home.
