The Peace of Christmas

Hello Friends.  I'm guest posting today at Stephanie's blog, The Enchanting Rose, you can find it here:  The Peace of Christmas

Stephanie has a delightful blog of craft tutorials, recipes, hymns, and scriptures.  She also has a keen eye for photograpy, and posts lots of photos for us to enjoy.

This is one particular craft post of Stephanie's, she has a tutorial for making small felted pillows.  She surprised me with some happy mail, sending me two of her sweet little pillows.  Clicking on the picture will take you to her post.

New England is having a snowstorm today, and it has hit us hard on the coast of Maine.  We decided it best to cancel church services.  Stephanie took this picture of snow covered trees, and although we are many states apart, our trees look similar today to this picture here.  I'm just not brave enough to venture outside yet and take a picture.

I hope you enjoy visiting Stephanie's blog.   Have a wonderful day.

What can I give Him, poor as I am?
If I were a shepherd, I would bring a lamb;
If I were a Wise Man, I would do my part;
Yet what I can I give Him: give my heart.

  5. Thank you, Abby, for this thoughtful post - I was quite surprised :) How fun that you are getting a lot of snow! I hope you are safe and warm. We got about a foot of snow from our last storm and the kids have been enjoying sledding and snowmobiling.

    And again, thank you for guest posting on my blog - it is truly an honor to have you be apart of The Enchanting Rose. Hugs and blessings to you!

  9. REALLY loved your guest post...that hymn (redone by modern artist) blessed me a couple of years ago when I was feeling really low about Christmas. It changed my perspective and brought me back into a right and worshipful place during this season of celebration the incarnation of Christ! Oh, and the pillows are so super cute too! Love you sweet lady :0)
